The Cora McCorvey Health and Wellness Center announces their spring and summer group fine art exhibit focused on neighbors and care. To be a neighbor is to live alongside others and share the rhythms of everyday life; the streets we walk, the buildings we inhabit, and the communities we shape together.
In recent years, Minneapolis communities have experienced moments that have challenged us deeply. At the same time, we have seen neighbors step forward in extraordinary ways; offering support, creativity, generosity, and resilience.

A new Artability Exhibition
This is Me Exhibition
June 8th -September 10th 2026
Because the exhibition is located on the University of Minnesota campus within an active academic and professional space, it is not fully open to the general public in the same way a traditional gallery might be. However, if you would like to visit the exhibition or bring friends or family to see your work, we are happy to help coordinate that through scheduled appointments.
I was accepted to do both things: the art exhibit and the storytelling.
Artability x CFAM x CHIP We’re excited to announce a new partnership between Artability, the University of Minnesota Center for the Art of Medicine (CFAM), and the Center for Health Interprofessional Programs (CHIP) to present a special exhibition exploring identity, lived experience, and self-expression. This year’s exhibition theme is This Is Me: Works in Progress, inviting artists to explore portraiture as a way of sharing personal stories—who we are, how we see ourselves, and how we want to be seen. The exhibition will also include a live storytelling showcase during the reception, where selected writers will share personal narratives connected to the theme.

Last year's theme was "Telling My Story, "And I am excited to share that I won the Best of Show trophy for my collection of diverse artworks. The standout piece that will be prominently featured in their 2026 show advertising is titled "Coming into the Light," a breathtaking artwork crafted entirely from scratchboard.
I sold all 5 pieces of artwork showcased below:
